Galatians says you will harvest what you plant. It’s logical, after all. If you plant tomatoes, you’ll get tomatoes. You wouldn’t plant tomato seeds and expect carrots to sprout up!
But how often do we hope for certain outcomes in life without taking the steps that will actually get us there?
It’s easy to minimize small choices—but over time they can grow into a life we weren’t expecting or hoping for. If there are things in your life that you wish were different, the first thing you need to do is examine your choices. If you don’t like what’s growing, start planting different seeds.
What seeds do you need to start planting? If you want to see more joy, peace, or self-control in your life, ask God what seeds you need to start planting, and what you need to start uprooting.
Pray: God, I want to see real change in my life. Help me see what needs to change and give me the wisdom and discipline to plant the right seeds. Amen.
