Growth never comes without resistance. James reminds us that trials aren’t just hurdles to survive. They’re moments that shape us into the people God created us to be.

Pain often feels pointless. But in God’s hands, it becomes productive. Maturity is formed in the hard places, not the easy ones. Struggles aren’t signs you’re failing—they might actually be signs that God is strengthening you. So, the next time a challenge comes, pause and ask: God, what are you growing in me right now? Because he is doing something in the struggle, and it will be worth it.

Pray: God, I want to grow—but I need your help to see my struggles the way you do. Use this moment to stretch me, shape me, and build something lasting in me. Amen.
